We\u2019ve all felt it. Right before you try a new idea for the first time, there\u2019s always that moment of panic. Is this really going to work?<\/em> Is it too late to back out?<\/em><\/p>\n\n

I say \u201cpanic,\u201d but let\u2019s call it what it is: self-doubt. Deep down, whenever you put yourself out there, you secretly wonder \u2026 do I have what it takes?<\/em><\/p>\n

On Monday evening this week, I had this moment myself. It was the evening before we launched the first-ever Influence and Impact Summit<\/a>. It\u2019s a free online event I\u2019m hosting from now through Tuesday. It features presentations from the top influencers I know. I\u2019ve never done ANYTHING like it before.<\/p>\n

That little voice kept saying \u2026 what if this just doesn\u2019t work?<\/p>\n

But on Tuesday morning, despite that nagging voice, we released the first three presentations (from me, Crystal Paine, and Pat Flynn). I\u2019ll be the first to say it: it wasn\u2019t perfect. There were technical glitches and last-minute tweaks.<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m so glad we pushed through.<\/p>\n

The response has been overwhelming. In the first two days alone, the videos have been viewed more than 30,000 times. The event\u2019s hashtag, #InfluenceImpact, fills up faster than we can manage. Someone new registers every 15 seconds — and you can too<\/a>, for free.<\/p>\n
